The Strange Case of Origami Yoda First Lines thoughts: As I'm finding out during this first week of dissecting First Pages and First Lines, the most successful middle grade and young adult novels start with a bit of mystery and intrigue to catch the reader's attention.  Origami Yoda does this in spades.  What I love about this beginning is that we're establishing tone and the reality of this world right away.  I also love the authenticity of the novel with its pre-crinkled pages and doodles throughout.

No, I haven't actually read this series, but Mini Me has and Little Lion snatched up this copy as soon as she saw me studying it.  And these first lines make me want to read it.

We're fans of Star Wars, obviously, and we've read many different Star Wars-based books. What's your favorite Star Wars book/spin-off?
