WE WERE ON A BREAK!

Well, not an intentional one, but a break nonetheless. I often see people announcing that they are going on a social media break and I think that’s great. I just tend not to do announcements when I do that.

Up until this summer, I had been consistently posting on this blog (with the exception of a two week break or two) for the last three years. This has been a six week break and while I’ve missed blogging, there were some real life things going on that kept me busy.

Real life which included lots of end-of-the-school-year activities, going on a staycation with the Bookworm family because I just HAD to have us visit Batuu AKA Galaxy’s Edge during the reservation period at Disneyland, (NEWSFLASH: it’s easier to get in now even though it’s still summer. All of us diehards already went. And everyone else got scared into waiting.), spending some quality time with my Bookworm girls, reading, beachtime, and also dealing with some bad news along the way.

But I’m back now.

While sometimes I’ll pause posting on Instagram, I usually keep going on the blog and then post latergrams. I’m hoping to continue blogging for the rest of the summer, starting with First Pages again and also some fun summer reads. Any requests?

[I’m laughing because I might have written that FRIENDS reference as the title anyway, but I know a lot of young people are streaming FRIENDS nowadays and will get the reference. Some of Mini Me’s friends are obsessed. Mini Me hasn’t watched the series yet, even though I own the complete DVD sets. :D My girls prefer fantasy/sci-fi/superhero-themed entertainment. Plus musicals. ]
