Welcome to the DARK SIDE. Since our First Pages series is so successful, I thought it would be fun to start a series focusing on the ENDINGS. This is definitely a SPOILER series.

Have you ever skipped to the ending or skipped ahead in a book while you were reading?

Confession: I’ve done it, but only with actual books, not audio books or e-books.

First victim in this series is Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. The first time that I read Eleanor and Park, I wasn’t really satisfied with the ending. However, I recently listened to the audiobook/re-read E&P and somehow the ending seemed fitting this time around. What do you think?

PS I first heard about skipping to the ending first from When Harry Met Sally when Harry talks about having a dark side—he would check the ending first in case he died before he could finish the book.
