Dr Bookworm Tries All the Houses:

I tried all the houses for Hogwarts house pride week both last year and this year. Ostensibly last year, I hadn’t been sorted yet. This year I decided to wear house colors every day anyway, even though I’m technically sorted into Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.

Why both? Well, Little Lion thought I would be Hufflepuff like her. And it’s true that I’m a loyal girl.

But, I’m also a bit of a bookworm and I love to learn—I’m always learning every day as a mom, as a doctor, as a person.

Theoretically, you can’t be in two houses. (Where would you sleep? What robes would you wear? Which quidditch team would you root for?) So even though I call myself a Ravenpuff, Little Lion always tells me that I need to choose a house for real.

I posted a pic of me every day for Hogwarts Pride Week (March 20-23) on Instagram, and I had hoped to post my ‘reveal’ at the beginning of the week that followed. I’m a little late, but this is the picture I took after that week ended:

I’m blue and bronze. The books are also to signify that I’m Ravenclaw. What do I care about which house colors they are when they’re BOOKS. Fantastic books in every way. So there you have it: Doctor Bookworm is, er, a *bookworm* at heart. No matter the house.
