What I Read in a Week
Please note that while I’m a fast reader, I did not complete all these books. Because I also am juggling work and family life. I read (and listen) to multiple books at once, so these are the books I was reading.
Cat and Cat Adventures: The Lair of the Owl King by Susie Yi, early graphic novel
Huda F Cares? by Huda Famy, older MG/YA graphic novel
The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, picture book and audio book, borrowed from the library through Libby
Vlad is Mad! by Su Moon, picture book, I read it as soon as our copies arrived prior to her Bookdragon event with us last weekend
No Hitting! by Karen Katz, picture book with lift-the-flap interactive parts.
Cowgirl by Isa Beniston, picture book ARC (advanced review copy, received at Caliba conference), comes out Feb 2027
The History of Everything by Victoria Evans, YA graphic novel borrowed from my local library
The Brothers Hawthorne by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, YA novel audiobook borrowed from the library through Libby
Yes, I had to name all my sources because I have several library books—physical, e-book, audiobook—in the mix. September was sign up for a library card and i KNOW many of you got those Hello KItty cards. Go use them this month. :D
